When giving access to other people to edit or manage your WordPress website you need to be able to control what that person can and cannot do. That might be because you want to prevent them making particular changes to the website, or you don’t want to overwhelm them with hundreds of options when they only really need to do one thing.
This tutorial explains the User Roles within WordPress and how these roles can be used to limit what users can do within the WordPress administration interface.
